The manhunt continues for a murder suspect who is usually associated with saving lives.

Authorities found Cal Fire Battalion Chief Oroville Fleming's Cal Fire truck abandoned in Elk Grove last night, but there's still no sign of the Chief.

According to Sacramento County spokeswoman Lisa Bowman the search is now statewide for Fleming, whose 26-year-old fiance' Sarah Douglas was found murdered in the home they shared on Thursday.

He is 55-years-old, a white male adult with brown hair, brown eyes, he stands approximately six-foot, one-inch tall and he weighs about 190 pounds.

Sac Sheriff's detectives say Douglas was horrifically stabbed, though an exact cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.

It is reported that some of the blood at the scene may have been Fleming's as he may have been cut by the knife.

They characterize him as potentially suicidal and are asking for the public's help in finding him and taking him alive.
