Midtown Sacramento has gone to the dogs. Or at least, it will on certain Saturdays.

The Midtown Business Association says it will be bringing a pop-up dog park to the Farmers Market at J and 20th every Second Saturday.

"It has everything that a larger dog park would have but on a smaller scale," Executive Director Emily Baime Michaels said.

The park will feature a double-gate system, seating, water, trash bags and even some roll-out grass, Baime Michaels said.

There won't be a fee, just make sure your pup is current on vaccinations. And since it's a small park, it's only for small dogs -- under 30 pounds.

Expect some dog-friendly vendors.

Baime Michaels says if there's enough interest and donations they may build a second, larger one.
