The National Weather Service says get ready for some wet weather. We have two storm systems set to hit Northern California starting Wednesday. The first will last through Thursday and bring strong breezes and snow levels around 5500 feet.

The second storm runs Friday through Sunday, and will bring heavier rainfall, snow levels will drop to around 4500 feet, and we'll have a chance of thunderstorms.

The storm system may cause a bit of travel disruption in the higher elevations; welcome news to anyone hoping for a fresh powder ski weekend.
