The aftershocks continue in the North Bay following this morning major earthquake, centered between American Canyon and Napa.

USGS has recorded at least 50 since the original shaker, which registered just over 6.0 at 3:20 AM and has been rounded up in some reports to a 6.1.

Most of the aftershocks have been minor so far, registering in the ones and twos, but a relatively sharp 3.6 was recorded at 5:47 AM, further jangling nerves and weakening cracked structures.

Power is still out for thousands of PG&E customers in the region, with the city of Napa hardest hit.
