Now that the partial federal government shutdown has ended, the National Zoo has the giant panda cam back online.

According to the "Washington Post" zoo spokeswoman Pamela Baker-Masson says as soon as everyone is back at work, all of the animal cams will resume and could be back in operation --which should be later today.

The popular panda cam can handle about 850 connections at a time, but because the volume is expected to be very high, viewers will be limited to 15 minutes per session. Baker-Masson says the female panda cub has grown a lot and looks "incredibly healthy."
