The insanity of the opening round of the NBA playoffs has come to a conclusion.

After three Game Sevens on Saturday there were another two today.

Paul Pierce's block as time expired sent the Nets to the Eastern Conference semifinals with a 104-103 win against the Raptors at the raucous Air Canada Centre. Pierce, Kevin Garnett and the Nets will renew a long-standing rivalry with LeBron James and the Heat beginning on Tuesday.

The Spurs whacked the Mavericks, 119-96, at the AT&T Center. Tony Parker exploded for 32 points handing Dirk Nowitzki his first ever loss in a Game Seven.

San Antonio hosts the Trail Blazers Tuesday as well.

Monday night the second round gets rolling. It starts off the Wizards traveling to Indiana to face the Pacers in a best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal matchup.

Washington hasn't reached this point of the playoffs since the 2005 postseason. Indiana hopes to advance to the conference finals for a second straight season.

Out West, the Clippers and Thunder make acquaintances for the first time ever in a best-of-seven series in Oklahoma City.

The two teams split the four games in the regular season contests.

Los Angeles has never advanced to the conference finals.
