Santa Clara is cutting back on the fun and all-but banning tailgating at the new 49er stadium.

The city council voted this week to ban all beer kegs, loud music, and playing sports of any kind, including games of catch, in the parking lot before events.

Most of the rules passed for inside the stadium are pretty standard, with lawmakers banning all animals going so far as to name specifically "birds, fish" and "reptiles" and the usual furry ones.

For those who will try and press their luck, the new one-point-three billion dollar stadium comes with its own jail and will be patrolled by more than 100 cops on game day.
