A TV reporter says he's received an apology from Congressman Michael Grimm.

The New York Republican threatened reporter Michael Scotto at the end of an interview following President Barack Obama's State of the Union address last night.

The camera recorded Grimm saying he would break the reporter in half and him throw him off the balcony where they were standing, for asking about a Justice Department investigation into his campaign finances.

Scott says Grimm's apology sounded sincere and he accepted it.
