Secret documents supplied by Edward Snowden show how the NSA hacked deep into a Chinese company it feared would do the same to the United States. CBS news reporter Larry Miller reports:

American officials consider China's telecommunications giant, Huawei a security threat, blocking it from doing business in the U.S. But at the same time, the NSA was hacking into that company's computer systems.

The New York Times and the German Magazine, Der Spiegal, cite documents leaked by former NSA contractor, Edward snowden.

One aim was to link into Huawei products so the NSA could gain access to foreign networks and if ordered by the president, to carry out offensive cyber operations.
