The national 911 memorial museum: dedicated today by the president.

Several stories beneath ground zero, President Obama addressing an audience of about 700, mostly victims' families,

"We had a chance to visit some of the exhibits and I think all who come here will find it to be a profound and moving experience," he said.

The President was obviously moved, so was everyone present, so is anyone who visits the museum, with its pathways winding down through emotion-laden exhibits, each telling a story of life and death, heroes and hope.

The museum opens to the public next week, with a someone controversial entry charge of $24.
