What's being called "an object of interest" has apparently been found on the coastline of Western Australia, as the search for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 continues.
However, bad weather over the southern Indian Ocean is grounding planes.
Western Australian police say a piece of metal found on the coast was turned into them and now is in the hands of the agency in charge of the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.
The object is described as a piece of sheet metal with rivets.
An official with the Australian Transport Safety Bureau urged caution about the piece of debris, saying it was interesting but still needed more examination.
