The oldest known Holocaust survivor is dead at the age of 110. An Israeli newspaper reports Alice Herz-Sommer passed away today in London. The Jewish native of Prague was sent to a concentration camp in 1943. When the Soviets liberated the camp in 1945, she returned to Prague, and in March of 1949 she emigrated to Israel to be reunited with her family.
Herz-Sommer was profiled in the Oscar nominated short subject documentary "Lady in Number 6: How Music Saved My Life."
