A piece of World War II history is returning to Pearl Harbor.

A piece of fuselage from a Japanese Zero fighter that crashed during the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor has been purchased by a Hawaii attorney and will be donated to the USS Arizona Memorial.

Attorney Damon Senaha successfully bid over 12-thousand dollars for the artifact after hearing about its online auction through media reports. He plans to give it to the museum.

The rare piece of history turned up in a box of knick-knacks in California before it was put on the auction block.
