California is ramping up its plan to land the new Tesla gig-a-factory and the almost seven-thousand jobs that come with it.

The "Mercury News" says Governor Jerry Brown has spoken with Tesla CEO Elon Musk on the phone and a Tesla incentive bill has been proposed in the state senate.

One potential rumored site for the factory in California is the old Mather Air Force Base in Rancho Cordova.

Tesla says it will make the decision in the next few months.
