The 2014 Winter Olympics officially get under way this weekend, and many Americans say they'll be tuning in.

2/3 of the respondents in a YouGov poll say they'll likely see "at least a little" of the sporting event, while 20% intend on catching most of the competitions.

The figure skating competition is generating the most excitement, with 55% looking forward to the event.

Ski jumping appeals to 47%, and 41% are eager to see the speed skating competition.  Some Americans, however, are intentionally avoiding the Olympics,

11% say they're boycotting the games over the rise of homophobia and hate crimes against gays in Russia.
