Sacramento and El Dorado county elections officials are still seeking poll workers for the June 3 primary election.

Jill LaVine, Sacramento County Registrar, said they especially need poll workers with bilingual skills in Sacramento County.

She's recruting poll workers fluent in English, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog or Vietnamese.

El Dorado County is also looking for bilingual poll workers.

A Californian can serve as a poll worker if he or she is a registered voter or a legal permanent resident of California. Pay is $100 a day.
