Gas prices continue to fall in the Sacramento area, where the average retail price comes in at $3.90 -- 11 cents lower than a month ago.

Nationally, prices are down about 9 cents from last week.

Alalyst Trilby Lundberg says it's because of stable supplies from refineries.

"They have been running at very high rates, building inventories," she said.

Lundberg says we could see a drop of another few cents if crude oil prices don't rise.

San Francisco has the nation's highest-priced gas at $4.03 a gallon and Tulsa the lowest, at $3.23.
