Californians who want pot to be legal can now collect signatures to help the cause. Secretary of State Debra Bowen gave permission on Thursday for people to show support for an initiative that would legalize marijuana use, possession, cultivation, transportation and distribution.  It is called the California Cannabis Hemp Initiative 2014.

Valid signatures from the nearly 505-thousand registered voters in the state must be submitted by next February 24th to qualify the measure for the November 2014 ballot.
