It's still burning. Crews have yet to fully contain the Rim Fire burning in the Stanislaus National Forest. The blaze is now 95% contained since it broke out in mid-August, with more than 402 square-miles of forest land blackened in Tuolumne and Mariposa Counties. Eleven homes and 98 outbuildings have been destroyed, with fire suppression costs exceeding 127-million-dollars.
