ROSEVILLE, Calif. -- Roseville is set to unveil a new town square tomorrow, and there's hope it will become a focal point for the city.

That's City Spokesman Brian Jacobson who hopes the $4.5 million site will draw more attention to the historic Vernon Street.

"It's a wide open, about one-acre space with a beautiful water fountain in the middle," Jacobson said.

A stage can host concerts -- like the one tomorrow night -- and plenty of daytime activities are planned, as well.

Wine festivals, art shows, farmers' markets and storytime for kids are all activities that could take place at the town square.

Jacobson sees the possibilities for nearby housing and office space, as well, he said.
