The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the community's help in solving the murder of Mrs. Line Withrow.
Eight years ago, on April 28, 2006 at approximately 3p.m., Mrs. Withrow was returning home after a day of shopping. As she walked down the sidewalk near the intersection of 37th and P Street a vehicle drove up next to her.
Without provocation, the unknown assailant got out of his vehicle and ran up to Mrs. Withrow. The two struggled over her purse when the assailant viciously stabbed her repeatedly with a knife.
Mrs. Withrow was taken to a local hospital and died two days later from the injuries she sustained from the attack.
The Sacramento Police Department has exhausted all investigative leads and is calling upon the community to come forward with any information that may help in the arrest and conviction of the suspect in this case.
