Sacramento police are on the lookout for several men who busted into a Golden Corral restaurant at gunpoint late Monday night.

It was about 10pm when the masked men reportedly used the arrival of a food delivery truck to get into the Golden Corral restaurant on Stockton Blvd near Highway 99.

Sac PD spokeswoman Michelle Gigante says they grabbed one employee and pistol whipped him.

"...and led that employee to other employees who were inside the business, held them at gunpoint while they were robbed," she said.

Gigante says the robbers also took an disclosed amount of money from the business before taking off.  At some point an employee hit a panic button to call for help.

"We had a helicopter that got up there pretty quickly from SSD and then our officers responded as well," she explained.

The air and ground search of the area turned up nothing.
