Thousands marched in this morning's Martin Luther King celebrations in Sacramento. 

The crowds are began gathering at two separate locations around 8 a.m. this morning.

On the south side, marchers got together at the Oak Park Community Center. They then made their way to Sacramento City College, and finally to the Sacramento Convention Center on J Street for an MLK Diversity Expo that's scheduled to run until 2 p.m.

Another separate march was scheduled to leave from Grant High School on Grand Avenue at 8:30 am. That march also ended up at the Sacramento Convention Center.

Sacramento police warn of road closures and traffic impacts as a result of the marches.

The following agencies and officers will be closed today in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day:
