It's proving more difficult to get dental surgeries done for low income and special needs people in Sacramento. Sutter is now getting out of the game.

Sutter has announced that dental surgery services will no longer be offered because they're losing too much money.

That means there's no major hospital in the area offering dental surgery to children of poor families who are covered by MediCal, for example.

According to The Sacramento Bee, that also means Sacramento County health officials are going to be hard pressed to find a way to get those service to the needy.

They say Sacramento County is already among the worst in the state for dental surgery services and this won't help.
