A jury in Sacramento says Ronnie Vang should get the death penalty for the murder of a man in his Meadowview home last year.

The panel deliberated for two days before reaching a decision.  The 32-year-old Van shot and killed Kaiser Permanente worker Keith Fessler during a robbery attempt on Carella Drive.

Vang had only been out of jail for four days before committing the crime.  Official sentencing is next month.  Vang could be the fifth murderer from Sacramento County to be sentenced to death in the past ten years.
