18th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade - Saturday, March 15th
Over 60 units with more than 1,000 marchers will be featured. Irish dancers in elaborate Celtic costumes, bagpipers, bands, military regiments, police and fire representatives, costumed marchers and a variety of cultural organizations will bring the luck of the Irish to the event.
This is a free event, fun for the whole family! Starts promptly at 1:00pm from 2nd & L Streets in Old Sacramento and proceeds throughout the national historic landmark.
Four Leaf Clover Scavenger Hunt - Saturday, March 15th
Come support local artists and craftspeople as you participate in the "Search for the Four Leaf Clover" Scavenger Hunt. There will be $200 worth of prizes, and light refreshments and snacks provided. Free admission, 11am - 6pm. Parking available in Med Clinic across the street or Street Parking in neighborhood.
10th Annual Blue Diamond Almonds Shamrock'n Half Marathon, 5K, and Kids' Run - Saturday, March 15th - Sunday, March 16th
With a little luck you and your closest running buddies will participate in the Sacramento area's largest half marathon, 5K, and kids' fun run!
Half Marathon costs $70, 5k Run $40, Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run $15
Saturday - 5K run/walk 8am, Kids' 1/2 mile run 9:45am

St. Patrick's Day River Cruise - Saturday, March 15th
This St. Patrick’s Day spend your afternoon on the Sacramento River. Enjoy a one hour cruise of the Sacramento River with a Face painter & Balloon Artist for the kids! See where the American and Sacramento Rivers come together to experience the wildlife and breathtaking natural beauty that this historic and important waterway has to offer.
One at 3pm and one at 4:30pm. Cost is $20 per person plus tax and service charges. Boarding is 15 minutes prior. Departs from the Old Sacramento L Street Dock.
St. Patrick's Day on the Delta King - Saturday, March 15th - Monday, March 17th

The well-regarded Delta King in Old Sacramento is hosting great live music, St. Patrick’s Day drink specials and Irish additions to its regular menu. Brunch begins at 7am every day, lunch at 11:30 and dinner at 5pm. When you’re done enjoying yourself on the riverboat, be sure to spend some time perusing the great shops and charming sights of Old Sacramento.
St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl - Saturday, March 15th
This free pub crawl kicks off the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day and features multiple destinations including: Blue Cue, Bar West, Red Rabbit, Cornerstone, Der Beirgarten and eleven others. It all begins at Blue Cue at 3:30pm and goes until 11pm. Enjoy a diverse array of food and drink available for purchase.
St. Patrick's Day Pre-Party with The Pikeys & Stepping Stone - Saturday, March 15th

The Fox & Goose St. Patrick's Day Celebration starts early this year! Come out and enjoy traditional Irish music from Stepping Stone then get all ridiculous with the best Irish punk band in town, The Pikeys! Admission cost is $8, must be 21+. Starts at 9pm.
St. Patrick's Day Block Party on L St - Monday, March 17th
Starting at 9am at DeVere’s Irish Pub, St. Patrick’s Day celebrations begin. The pub will remain upon until 2am. Firestone Public House opens for lunch at 11am and will launch a live music set by Nanchuck Taylor at 6pm. Finally, MiX Downtown will open at 3pm and have music and dancing beginning at 7pm. Traditional beer and Irish plates like pork kielbasa and corned beef & cabbage will be for sale.
Wil O'Mylar St. Patrick's Day Celebration - Monday, March 17th
Starlite Lounge, 1517 21 St, Sacramento
Irish band Will O’Mylar Trio will perform both traditional and modern Irish Music. Starting at 6pm, the music is happening at Sacramento’s Starlite Lounge, formerly the TownHouse Lounge. This event is free but all patrons must be aged 21+.

Learn to create an authentic Irish menu at this cooking demonstration open to both co-op members and the general public. Cost is $35 for members and $45 general admission. The cooking class includes an Irish cheese plate, colcannon, beef & Guinness stew, soda bread biscuits and Irish bread pudding.
