The Coast Guard is continuing to scour the Pacific Ocean for a 34-year-old man who apparently jumped off a cruise ship traveling from San Francisco to Hawaii.

In a story you heard first on KFBK yesterday, the Guard was notified early in the morning that the crew member, who's a Filipino national, had disappeared from the Grand Princess cruise ship about eleven-hundred miles northeast of Hilo, Hawaii.

The Coast Guard tells KFBK that at first light they'll launch a C-130 aircraft from Hawaii to continue the search.

The cruise ship and it's sister ship "The Star Princess" are also still in the area where the crew member was last seen.
