The search for a missing Malaysia passenger jet is being halted by darkness. Two ships reported recovering items during Saturday's search in the Indian Ocean, but officials have yet to determine if they could be pieces of Flight 370.
Families who had loved ones aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 are being reassured that the search for the missing jetliner will go on. Overnight, Malaysia's acting minister of transportation told reporters that he too is "hoping against hope" that someone may have survived.
The Boeing 777 vanished shortly after it took off from Kuala Lumpur on March 8th, en route to Beijing. Malaysian authorities have said they believe the jumbo jet went down in the southern Indian Ocean, killing all 239 people on board. But no one's been able to confirm finding any wreckage. The search area is now focused on an area hundreds of miles to the north off Australia's western coast.
