Donald Sterling's wife may have a role with the Clippers after the team is sold.

Clippers co-owner Shelly Sterling could continue to play a role in the team under terms of the pending sale to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for a record-breaking $2 billion.

The deal reportedly allows for up to $200 million to be spun off into a charitable foundation that Shelly would essentially run.

The deal had been negotiated by Shelly and Ballmer after Donald's racist remarks to a girlfriend had been publicized and the NBA moved to kick him out of the league.

The NBA still needs to sign off on the deal.
