Sacramento Sheriff's deputies say a little after 1:00 p.m. on Thursday they responded to a 9-1-1 call about someone being shot near the intersection of Fulton Avenue and Marconi Avenue in Sacramento.
They found a 23-year-old man victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso, so the deputies began life saving measures. Sacramento Metro Fire paramedics got to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was said to be in serious condition.
Witnesses say the victim was walking near the suspected shooter's vehicle at the light in the intersection. The shooter was described as a white or Hispanic man in his late 20’s, and he the witnesses said he was driving an early 2000s compact car.
