A new study has revealed that many late night fans would have liked to have seen someone other than Stephen Colbert replace David Letterman on the "Late Show."
Social media tracking site Keyhole.com has studied the #LettermanReplacement since the retirement announcement.
It found the majority of Twitter users discussing the hand-over online wanted to see Tina Fey as CBS' choice.
Thirty-two percent of the hashtags associated with the subject mentioned the former "Saturday Night Live" writer.
And get this: The eventual winner, Colbert, was mentioned in just ten percent of the Tweets.
