The lone surviving suspect in last month's Stockton bank robbery, kidnapping and shootout made a brief appearance in court Monday morning, before a new judge.
Suspect Jaime Ramos heard Judge Bernard Garber read a charge that was mistakenly left out of his previous arraignment.
The change in judges was requested by defense attorneys, who are also expected to request a change in venue.
Prosecutor Mark Ott says he will enthusiastically fight to keep the case in Stockton.
Ramos is expected to return to court Sept. 15. He's facing a multitude of charges related to the incident that took the life of hostage Misty Holt-Singh.
