Study: E-Cigarette Users Quit At Same Rate As Smokers

Posted March 25th, 2014 @ 6:31pm by KFBK News

A new study says e-cigarette smokers are just as unlikely to stop smoking as regular smokers.

Researchers at UC San Francisco say smokers from both groups kicked the habit at the same rate of almost ten-percent.

The study also found that women were more likely than men to use e-cigarettes.

Younger adults under the age of 30, and people with less education were also more likely to use e-cigarettes.
