The surviving suspect in last week's deadly bank robbery and pursuit in Stockton that left three people -- including one hostage -- dead, appeared in court this afternoon.

Jaime Ramos, 19, made an appearance at the San Joaquin County courthouse, where he was arraigned on 35 charges, including three murder charges for the deaths of Misty Holt-Singh, and the other two suspects.

He also faces 22 attempted murder charges reflecting the number of police officers who were targeted by gunfire.

Ramos may not have been solely responsible for all the crimes that happened last Wednesday, but as the only survivor he now faces all the charges.

Police say Ramos survived last Wednesday's bank robbery by using hostage Misty Holt-Singh as a human shield while the other two suspects were killed.

Police have not ruled out the possibility of more suspects in the case.

Ramos returns to court Aug. 18 for continuance of his arraignment. He was not offered bail.
