A wild chase through a Sacramento neighborhood sent three sheriff's deputies to the hospital and two suspects to jail yesterday.

Sacramento Sheriff's spokeswoman Lisa Bowman says the two were wanted in connection with a homicide.

They took off from Vandenburg and Stockton, reaching speeds of up to 80mph.

"At one point the suspect vehicle, we believe, tried to run over an officer," Bowman said.

Before it T-boned a sheriff's cruiser at 65th Street and 18th Avenue.

"Those two officers inside of the marked unit were injured and transported to the hospital," she said.

Another deputy was hurt while arresting the pair.

Nina Tran, 23, has been booked and is facing several charges, as is Marcus Antonio Richardson, also 23.

Police say they are known gang members and threw a "large bag" of heroin out the window during the chase.
