The last of the riders in the 100-mile Tevis Cup horse race have crossed the finish line.

The 24-hour endurance run kicked off yesterday morning shortly after 5 am and Heather Reynolds from Dunnell Florida, riding Hadea crossed the finish line in Auburn last night at 9:32 p.m. becoming this year's Tevis Cup winner.

Lane Tennessee from Colorado was six minutes behind and local favorite Thom Johnson on Libby from Loomis came in third. The annual event held since 1955 starts in Squaw Valley and finishes 100-miles later in Auburn.
