It's the opening day of the State Fair tomorrow. You'll find rides, animals and bacon wrapped bourbon churros.
"When it comes off the grill, we put a little bit of powdered sugar and some maple syrup on it."
The lines will be long at Amber Vandewraker's Bacon Habit stand. Her creation, is just one of the new additions this year.
It's next to the science and tech center for kids and the chainsaw carving demonstrations.
"We are also providing more shade, and more seating," media director Lara Popyack said.
Popyack says the drought is also top of mind, with a motocross track in the drained lagoons.
Looking for the familiar? Head to the back for the animals, the petting zoo.
"I got to spend the day yesterday with a baby wallaby, who's the cutest thing," she said.
Attendance was up in 2013, and this year's pre-sales have been strong.
