A deadly crash in Vacaville over the weekend was a sobering reminder about teens, drinking and driving.

Five teens, returning from an outing to Lake Berryessa, were involved in a crash on Pleasant Valley Road Saturday night.

None of the five were wearing seatbelts, all five were thrown from the truck they were riding when it lost control and rolled over in a field, tragically, two of the five were killed.

Parents who ventured to the crash site Sunday found the field strewn with personal items, shoes and other belongings.

The names of those killed are being withheld.

Three others injured in the crash are listed in critical condition.

The California Highway Patrol says speed and alcohol likely contributed to the crash.
