Ukraine's interim leader says a new government should be in place by Thursday.

Ukraine's parliament delayed the formation of a new government today, reflecting political tensions and economic challenges following the oust of President Viktor Yanukovych, who's wanted for arrest.

Parliament has sacked some of Yanukovych's lieutenants and named their replacements, but has yet to appoint the new premier and fill remaining government posts.

Presidential elections are planned for May 25.
