UPDATE: The Cal Fire Chief wanted in connection with murder has officially been relieved of his command.

"This has nothing to do with the allegations that are made against him," Spokesman Daniel Berlant said.

Orville Fleming was relieved of his duties because he has not reported for or called into work for five days resulting in automatic termination.

That officially took place on April 30.

There's a statewide manhunt for Flemming, who is suspected of murdering his fiance last week.

Sacramento Sheriff Homicide Detectives have revealed that murder suspect, Orville "Moe" Fleming, who allegedly killed 26-year-old Sarah Douglas at their home on Fox River Court in Sacramento on May 1, 2014, is believed to have fled the immediate area in an unknown vehicle.

Fleming is an avid outdoorsman and frequents the Sierra Mountains, Santa Cruz Mountains and the Yosemite Valley.

Fleming has keys to fire gates, trails and Cal-Fire facilities throughout the state, in his possession.

Fleming has been known to change his appearance in the past by shaving his head and mustache. He has obvious tattoos on his left arm and bicep and often wears a baseball cap.

Fleming should have cuts to one or both of his hands, injuries he sustained during the murder that should require bandages.

Fleming should be considered armed and dangerous; as he is known to have a .45 caliber pistol and a .25 caliber pistol that are unaccounted for.
