Police have identified the two people killed in yesterday's police chase that turned into a hit-and-run crash in the Antelope area.

The California Highway Patrol identified the victims as 35-year-old Jose Luis Barriga-Tovar and his teenage daughter. Both of the victims were from Antelope.

They were allegedly killed by burglary suspects 19-year old twin brothers Ruslan and Roman Glukhoy, who were in a stolen pickup truck who led police on a high-speed pursuit between Auburn and Antelope, until the truck ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle on Antelope Road around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The occupants of the second vehicle, 35-year-old Jose Luis Barriga-Tovar and his 14-year-old daughter, were killed.

Police say two of the three suspects fled the scene on foot and were tracked down after an intense door-to-door search that prompted the lock down of two nearby schools.
