A warranted search of a Madera residence Thursday night uncovered 176 pounds of crystal methamphetamine.
The raid was conducted by state Department of Justice (DOJ) and federal investigators with California Highway Patrol officers.
The drug may have been smuggled from Mexico to California in liquid form before it was converted to crystal meth in a lab at the home.
The meth was found in rooms throughout the residence, as was $58,000 in cash. No one was in the home and no arrests have been made.
