Don't ever say California lawmakers are not a fun bunch. They partied last night in a big annual back-to-session bash with rapper Coolio in Sacramento.
The event was put on by the California Tribal Business Alliance, the California Bankers Association and the Distilled Spirits Council.
The party at a Sacramento venue came complete with a "cigar cabana," an ice sculpture, a taco bar and a martini station, according to The Sacramento Bee.
Some lawmakers hit the floor when Coolio performed his "Gangster's Paradise." They included Assembly members Rob Bonta, Steve Bradford, Sharon Quirk-Silva and Isadore Hall.
After that, Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, (D-Sacramento) took the stage to note this would be his last back-to-session bash because he will be out of office at the end of 2014 due to term limits.
