The California teenager who made it to Hawaii in the wheel well of plane headed to Hawaii could be in trouble with the law.
Police in San Jose plan to interview the 15-year-old Yahya Abdi about his trip as a stowaway on a Hawaii-bound flight two weeks ago, surviving sub-freezing temperatures in the wheel well of a jetliner as it crossed the Pacific Ocean.
The boy might face charges.
Meanwhile, the Hawaii Department of Transportation has released security video from the airport where the plane landed which shows the teen dropping down from a Hawaiian Airlines jet after surviving the nearly six-hour flight.
The teen, a Somali immigrant, is being cared for by California child protective services.
