A woman has filed a lawsuit against Los Angeles police saying she was somehow ejected from a moving patrol car while handcuffed. The Los Angeles Times reports that 28-year-old Kim Nguyen says she was arrested for public intoxication outside a Koreatown restaurant in March and handcuffed. Nguyen says she was ejected from the car, but doesn't remember how.

In an incident report, paramedics report police said Nguyen fell as they accelerated after an intersection stop. Surveillance video doesn't show Nguyen being ejected, but shows her lying in the street afterward with her face bruised and bloodied. An LAPD spokesman says he does not know if an internal investigation has begun, but one would be conducted.
