The California woman who was beaten by a CHP officer on the side of a freeway in Los Angeles is finally speaking out.

Marlene Pinnock says she feared for her life as the CHP officer pummeled her more than a month ago.

"I think he was trying to kill me. I think he was trying to beat me death. He was just socking me with all his strength ... for no reason. I did nothing to him," she said.

The incident was captured on cell phone video and has since gone viral.

Yesterday, Pinnock said the officer hit her repeatedly in the head with all of his strength without saying a word, and she wants the officer fired.

Pressure is mounting on the California Highway Patrol to disclose what, if any, discipline has been taken against the officer and community leaders are asking Governor Jerry Brown to get involved in the investigation.
