A woman admits she looked down to correct a voice text while driving away from her daughter's middle school when she hit a pole that went through her car, piercing her thigh and buttocks.

Christina Jahnz says she hit the guardrail pole after looking down for only a second and going 20 miles per hour.

After more than 40 stitches and a four day stay in the hospital, Jahnz was released late Sunday night.

She will be able to walk with the help of a walker and is expected to make a full recovery.
