Shock in the Sacramento Kings organization as former team marketing executive 44-year-old Jeffrey David is under investigation by the FBI and federal prosecutors.
The Sacramento Bee reports that David is suspected of embezzling more than $13-million from two of the team's top sponsors - Golden 1 Credit Union and the Kaiser Permanente Foundation.
David's position with the Kings was eliminated in June of this year. He's now Chief Revenue Officer with the Miami Heat. No charges have been filed as of yet.
