Oliver, an orange tabby cat stowed himself away in his neighbors car and took an accidental ride all the way to Rancho Cordova from Greenhaven area this morning, city officials said. Thanks to the help of Costco Tore and Lee's Automotive, the cat was safely removed from the engine compartment in the vehicle. Oliver has been microchipped and was returned to his owner. Drivers are being reminded in wint months to check their engine and cars for any animals trying to keep out of the cold.
