Over $2 Million In Loans Available To Capital Region Small Business

The Small Business Administration announced that they are providing working capital loans to help California small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, and businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private, non-profit organizations of all sizes, to help meet their ordinary and necessary financial obligations that cannot be met as a direct result of the disaster.

Businesses in the Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Sutter and Yolo Counties are some of the first in the U.S. to secure Disaster Loan Assistance through the U.S. Small Business Administration for COVID-19. These funds were secured through coordinated efforts from local, state and federal officials in collaboration with the business community.

These loans are intended to assist through the disaster recovery period. These loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable and other bills that can’t be paid because of the COVID-19 disaster’s impact.

Applications are open via the Disaster Loan Assistance Portal Here
